This website has been created in spaces that reside on the ancestral and often unceded lands of the native and indigenous peoples of this continent. Since our activities are often shared digitally to and through the internet, I also emphasize the legacy of colonization embedded within the technology, structures, and ways of thinking that we use every day, including equipment, processes, and high-speed internet which are not available to many indigenous communities to this day. This website also contributes to the carbon footprint we are leaving behind which disproportionately affects indigenous peoples worldwide. I invite you to join me in acknowledging all of this, as well as our shared responsibility to make good of this time and for each of us to consider our roles in reconciliation, decolonization, and ally-ship.
